Born in a Barn Recording Studio Warwickshire

BB Studio - a Pro Tools HD2 music studio Established in 1996, Born in a Barn Recording Studio is situated inside the old milking parlour of Mobbs Wood Farm, Ansty (a quaint little country village) & is the perfect location for all your recordings. It is just north of Coventry (off M6 J2) in Warwickshire.

This ideal location for professional recordings has attracted local customers from Coventry, the West Midlands & Warwickshire, as well as visitors from many other countries outside the UK. We can comfortably accommodate/sleep groups of up to 6 in house or there is a hotel just 1 mile away.

This sound recording studio has been developed over several highly rewarding years. The premises were first found & developed in 1996, when relocation of the previous Coventry city recording studio was forced (due to the building being demolished!) and was originally just the Live Room and Control Room.

During Spring 2001, having visited a variety of recording studios and talked to many musical artists (whilst working on tour) further refurbishments were made and a comfortable, professional but fun place to be was re-designed. More recently the Accommodation Rooms were completed & there are now 5 rooms, perfect for demo recordings upwards.

In the interim periods BB recording studio has been hired as a project studio (both long & short term) and still can be, but is now fully open. It has been extensively equippled with state-of-the-art Digital Hardware including Digidesign & Focusrite. An Apple Mac G5 PPC sits at the hub running Pro Tools 7 software & uses Waves Diamond plug-ins to assist in the mastering process; vital for great sounding recordings.
