Tim Harwill (born Timothy Frederick Pruden in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Métis-Canadian outlaw country singer/songwriter, based out of Thorsby, Alberta, Canada.
Music career
Known as ‘The 12-String Troubadour’ he has toured across North America performing his signature brand of roots/country music. His music is identified as "Americana" and tells non-conformist tales of the people and places he’s encountered while living out scores of adventures on the lost highway. Tim has shared the stage with many great talents including Fred Eaglesmith and Corb Lund, and was joined by godfather of Americana music James Talley on the song "Hard Times", and the immortal Steve Young on “Road Traveled Less” on his latest album release ‘The Wander Man Revisited’.
Personal life
A one-time professional boxer, he has earned raves as both poet and actor at different times in his career. A legendarily reclusive working musician, he lives quietly in small town Alberta when not on tour.
