Audition Records After three years of releasing ambient, electronic music,Audiotalaia splits up in two labels in 2010. Audiotalaia keeps it's line of releases and Audition Records is a new division focusing efforts on publishing and promoting artists working on sound improvisation with electronics and classic instruments. Audition Records is curated by Julian Bonequi , musician and activist currently living in Berlin at NK Projeckt an artist run independent non-profit organization that is dedicated to Sound Arts. The philosophy of this new proposal aims to open a new space on the netaudio community focused on improvised music and live recordings of events and concerts all around the world. Audition Records is a series of releases centered on different compositional approaches of Free, Noise and all kind of Experimental and Improvisated Music Performances with the effort on providing a space in which classical and electronic instruments and sonorities can dialogue in freedom and intelligent sensibility. The project was born this year on January 15th, after Audioatalaia published the release Machinations of Joy wich Julian Bonequi is former artist. Since that, Edu Comelles ( the Coordinator of Audioatalaia) and Julian Bonequi create a exclusive space for the denominated Improvised Music Scene, whitout matters of the semantic school or the stilistyc signature of the musicians. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The first Audition Records, without no connection to the Catalan/Spanish - Audition Records - , was sold in October 1959 by Enoch Light to ABC-Paramount Records. Audition Records was a record label located in Nashville, Tennessee.
