Dharmasoka College
Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, is a mix school in Sri Lanka. The school was established in 1913 by the Buddhist Theosophical Society led by Colonel Henry Steel Olcott, and accordingly is one of Sri Lanka's oldest schools. It provides primary and secondary education.

Location and size
Dharmasoka College is situated in Galle District, Ambalangoda. It consists of over 7,000 students and a staff of about 250 teachers.
History
The school was established with only 15 students by its founder Mudliar S. Thomas de Silva in 1913, who spent his own wealth for the development of this school.
On April 10, 1929, the Sugatha Sasondaya Samithiya (a benevolent society) took over the college. The state took control of the school in 1961, after which 25 government principals were appointed in succession.
