Ibn Shahriyar

Buzurg ibn Shahriyar Ram'Hurmuzi was a captain of a merchant ship of the Persian province of Khūzestān. He was also the author of Kitab al Ajab al Hind or The Book of the Wonders of India, which recounts his voyages from 900 to 953.
