23rd Annual Khuddam National Ijtima`

Ramadhan ul Mubarak - A Month Full of Blessings

Experience closer communion with the Maker and Creator during this blessed month.

In the Holy Quran, Allah says:

"O ye who believe ! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard against evil. The prescribed fasting is for a fixed number of days, but whoso among you is sick or on a journey, shall fast the same number of other days; and for those who are able to fast only with great difficulty, is an expiation - the feeding of a poor man. And whoso does good of his own accord it is better for him. And fasting is good for you, if you only knew" (2:184-185)

The holy month of Ramadhan has arrived. Muslims around the world are fasting from dawn to dusk during this Holy Month.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has told us that, "Allah the Exalted and Majestic said: Every act of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting. It is (exclusively) meant for Me and I (alone) will reward it. Fasting is a shield. When any one of you is fasting on a day, he should neither indulge in obscene language, nor raise the voice; or if anyone reviles him or tries to quarrel with him he should say: I am a person fasting. By Him, in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, the breath of the observer of fast is sweeter to Allah on the Day of judgment than the fragrance of musk. The one who fasts has two (occasions) of joy, one when he breaks the fast he is glad with the breaking of (the fast) and one when he meets his Lord he is glad with his fast."
