Brasse vannie kaap

Brasse Vannie Kaap, sometimes abbreviatted as BVK, was a South African rap group from the Cape Flats, and rapped predominantly in Afrikaans. A hip-hop collective, members included rappers Mr. Fat and Garlic Brown, DJs Ready D and Azuhl, and a number of b-boy dancers. The group was committed to community involvement within the Cape Flats and the South African nation, participating in numerous workshops, out-reach programs, and charity concerts.[1] BVK proved to have a broad appeal, becoming one of the biggest musical acts in the country, and performing in major festivals in Africa and Europe.

Mr. Fat (Ashley Titus) died on November 27, 2007 from heart complictations.[1]
