The Hull History Centre is a library that houses the combined collections of both the Hull City Council and Hull University archives, as well as other various local studies resources and a highly qualified specialist staff.

After a £7.7 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and nearly ten years of planning, the centre was finally opened to the public on January 25th, 2010. [1]
