Zhenghua Park is a nature park bounded by Bt Timah Expressway (BKE), BKE Slip Road to Kranji Expressway (KJE), and Dairy Farm Road.

History

The charming rustic park was built between the PUB pipeline reserve and the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE), amidst the Bukit Panjang housing estate. Completed in June 2002, this linear park stretches for about 2.5km along the BKE and links the Bukit Panjang Park Connector to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

Visitor Info

The 13.5 ha park provides a whole host of discoveries for its visitors. It aims to meet the rising expectations and recreational needs of Singaporeans who want an improvement to the physical environment and quality of life.

Although it is located along a major expressway, residents and nature lovers alike will find this park a pleasant retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Its rugged terrain is welcomed to cycling enthusiasts and those seeking a good hike. Other facilities such as the playground and fitness equipment provide a place of relaxation and enjoyment with family and friends.

A variety of trees are planted throughout the park, with over twenty different species planted. Visitors may occasionally find rubber seeds scattered on the ground. Some pockets of vegetation are deliberately left in the wild to add to the rural charm of the park.
