Ben Rivers (born in 1972) is a contemporary experimental film maker, director and innovative artist based in London. His work has been shown in many Independent film festivals including the PDX Film Festival in 2009 where he premiered his latest film "Origin Of Species". He works using equipment, such as the Bolex wind up camera, that provides him with certain limitiations such as time constraints and dated developing methods to achieve an aged look. His work ranges from themes about exploring unknown wilderness territories to candid and intimate portrayals of real-life subjects.
