Standards in Excellence And Learning (SEAL Canada) is the new national organization for independent schools in Canada. In October 2009, the Canadian Educational Standards Institute (CESI) and the Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) formed the new national organization.

SEAL Canada has the following draft Mission: a community of independent schools, we collaborate in the pursuit of exemplary leadership, training, research and innovation. We are committed to the exploration and attainment of international standards of educational excellence. In October 2010, the Vision for the new national organization for 93 accredited independent schools in Canada will be the following: The voice of excellence in learning and leadership, we shape the future of education in Canada and the world.
