Robbie Gringras

Robbie Gringras' is an Israeli theater artist.[1][2]
A British-born Oxford University graduate, Gringras is a writer, actor, singer and storyteller who now lives in Israel on Kibbutz Tuval.[3]
Gringras drew attention for his 2009 performance piece The Eighth Child, penned as a response to Caryl Churchill's controversial play, Seven Jewish Children.[4]
Gringras was the co-founder and co-Artistic Director of Besht Tellers Theatre Company. From 1991 to 1996 he wrote, performed and occasionally directed shows for the company on England's West End and throughout Britain. "Telling Tales" played throughout the world, "The Story of the Last of the Just" played throughout Britain and Europe.
Since leaving Besht Tellers his show "The Gift" has played throughout Israel and the English-speaking world.
"About the Oranges", his solo show about a suicide bombing, performed at the Edinburgh and Vancouver Chutzpah Festival, throughout the US and UK, in Australia, and throughout Israel in English and Hebrew. The Spanish version of the same show, "Mohammed y Yo" won best monologue in Mexico.
