Oliver “Power” Grant is an American entrepreneur, producer, and actor. He is credited as the brainchild behind the branding success of one of the most influential and successful hip hop groups of all time, the Wu-Tang Clan. As executive producer of all Wu Tang Clan albums solo and collective, Power helped brand “WU TANG” and the Wu Tang brand WU WEAR clothing company. He is the original founder and CEO of Wu Wear clothing and stores. He made hip hop artists synonymous with fashion long before clothing companies were synonymous with rap artists.

Grant produced, developed and released Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style, the PlayStation video game with Activision in 1999.

Power landed roles in major motion pictures including ‘Knowledge’ in the urban film Belly, directed by Hype Williams, which grossed over $9.7 million domestically before hitting DVD and TV. In addition, he played the leading role of ‘Rich Bower’ in writer/director James_Toback’s star-studded Black and White, which also starred Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Brooke Shields, Elijah Wood, Mike Tyson, and several others. He was also a producer and music supervisor of the film. He would team up again with Toback as actor and composer for When Will I Be Loved, starring Neve Campbell. He also had the leading role and was a producer on the feature film “Coalition” opposite Goodfellas star Frank Vincent. He has a co-starring role in talk show host and former nationally syndicated shock jock Wendy Williams’ life story Queen of Media as her husband Big Kev. The bio-pic also stars Robin Givens, and is soon to be released in theaters.

Grant has negotiated several deals for a plethora of industry elites ranging from music to clothing endorsements. He recently completed Executive Producing duties on the Wu Tang Clan’s reunion album 8 Diagrams.
