Undeadcannibal/Andrew rahman

Andrew Rahman (Born July 28, 1985) is an United_States, composer, guitar and piano player. he is best known for his work with US Stoner/ Sludge Metal band churches burn[1][2]. he has recently been working on his own solo material, with the release of the full length "Re-Living Her Visual Mischief" in 2010.

Biography

Born in the town of Toledo, Ohio, Andrew began playing guitar in his early teens and began writing songs shortly after. While in Toledo, he took part in many local bands[3][4] before moving to Columbus, Ohio. Since moving to Columbus he has joined the band "Black To Comm", in late 2007. After legal issues the name was changed to Churches burn. In late 2008 he had to leave the band, but returned in April 2009, and has since recorded two albums with the band, entitled "Adversary", and "O.H.F.U."[5]. Andrew studied music theory under Yuri Bortz, and is currently studying Improvisation and Post-Tonal Music with Rocca Di Pietro at the Columbus State Community College. Andrew has also released his own solo work[6], with a full-length entitled "Re-Living Her Visual Mischief"[7], as well as a concept piece in three movements highlighting the use of circuit bending with keyboards entitled "Post-Traumatic Stress"[8]
