Alrighty

Sloppy- I know. but at least there's something more than the original article which was just the description. Please add more. Deathtalon (talk) 05:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

metalcore/deathcore

I'll tell you now Emmure are a metalcore band, they do not use death metal why do people keep changing it? and the vocal style has nothing to do with genre, as its always on the vocalists preferation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by XTomScottx (talkcontribs) 18:04, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Emmure are not deathcore and certainly NOT death metal, a few songs even sound screamo/pop-punk. They are metalcore with mid/low yelling and 90% breakdowns, no death metal influence at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.8.1 (talk) 09:11, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Emmure are totally deathcore. They mix death metal with metalcore influences. They have plenty of death growls, lots of down tuned guitar usage... what else would deathcore be? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.252.190 (talk) 06:23, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The type of music that they play is called 2-step

there fucking deathcore

They are definitely deathcore yes, so we are leaving that genre up. Stop removing it. But after hearing felony, I think nu metal should be added to the genres. Thoughts? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.244.142 (talk) 03:07, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These guys are brutal death metal. They're the most brutal band I've ever listened to so I changed the genre. Qpalwoskeid

So the vote appears to be deathcore with 4 votes for it and 2 against it. I disagree with Nu Metal but if you can find sources you can post it. I'm going to search for some sources saying deathcore as that's clearly what they are. I listen to metalcore so I know that it's not one of their genres, Nu Metal actually makes more sense than deathcore. And @ Qpalwoskeid:You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. On the Deathcore article you called them Post-Hardcore. Please start making sense. KezianAvenger 21:51, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a fucking democracy, they are what you can source them to be.

In 1985?

It says they toured in 1985 yet they formed in 2003? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.191.234.222 (talk) 22:33, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fact check

In April 2009, the early history of this band was edited [1] to mention an "original bass player", and other changes. A name [2] was later added. These changes were not in the cited official site bio [3] (including versions at archive.org) so I've changed the article back so that it matches the cite. Unfortunately, this unsourced information was in the article for about a year, and has been duplicated across the web [4] [5]. Gimmetrow 17:06, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Beef

Should their fued with The Acacia Strain be mentioned? Cathys Son (talk) 23:30, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
