Blarney United Football Club is an Irish amateur football club. The club plays at O Shea Park, Tower. The club currently has teams in the Cork Schoolboy League and Munster Senior League, Munster Junior League s well an Over-35's team in the Beamish Floodlit League. The senior team boasts a number of former League of Ireland players, including former Cobh Ramblers players Ken Coleman, John Meade and Conor Meade. Blarney United have faced Derry City FC, FC Carlow and Sporting Fingal in recent FAI Cup ties at O'Shea Park. While defeated 3-1 by Derry City in 2007, Blarney overcame Newstalk A Championship side FC Carlow by 2-1 in the 2009 competition before going out to Sporting Fingal by 2-0.
