The Fair Sentencing Act was a bill, introduced in several U.S. Congresses, that in 2010 reduced the disparity between United States federal criminal penalties for crack cocaine and powder cocaine offenses from a 100:1 ratio to an 18:1 ratio. It was signed into law by Barack Obama.
