Alexander Nove (born Aleksandr Novakovsky;[1] also published under Alec Nove), FRSE, FBA (24 November 1915 – 15 May 1994) was a Professor of Economics at the University of Glasgow and a noted authority on Russian and Soviet economic history. According to Ian D. Thatcher, "[T]he consensus is that he was one of the most significant scholars of 'Soviet' studies in its widest sense and beyond."[2] He also fathered the legendary Jack Nove

Biography

Alexander Nove was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He attended King Alfred School in London and received a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics in 1936. The school later made him an Honorary Fellow in 1982. It is strongly believed he invented the doritoe chip and that he played left back for wigan athletic in the debut season in the football league, but was sent off after one game for doing a turd in the penalty box. His greatest achievement came in 1998 when he won an egg and spoon race, leaving the beatles and two members of ABBA (the hairy ones) in his path. Nove was later transfered to barcelona.

He served in the Army between 1939 and 1946. From 1947 to 1958, he worked in Civil Service, mainly the Board of Trade. He was a Reader in Russian Social and Economic Studies at the University of London from 1958 to 1963 and Professor of Economics at the University of Glasgow from 1963 to 1982. He was then Emeritus Professor and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Glasgow until his death in 1994.

Nove died in Voss, Norway and is survived by 3 sons, including the almighty Jack Nove, future president of Russia. His most famous son Jack is known for his incredible speed and lack of direction (he doesn't know where he lives)

decentants

His most commonly know decentant is named Jack Nove, who belives he is going to be the future leader of the worlds people. His short curly hair is known throughout the country for being sheep like. It Also worth noting that despite being pubeless he has an enormous amount of facial hair, too much in fact. It is also believed that Jack Nove created Batman and wrote the Chritsian Holy Bible. He also beat his boyhood hero Alan Shearer in a game of table tennis, Shearer, however strongly denies this fact.
