Ngwebifor M. Fobi Who is Ngwebifor?

Ngwebifor Mignon Fobi serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Axiom Sports Group and is responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver the firm's services.

Ngwebifor attended the California Academy of Mathematics and Science leaving after the completion of 11th to begin her freshmen year at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious and Philosophical Studies from Fisk University in 1998.

Gwebi, as she is called by most, began her career in marketing and public relations by throwing parties and interning in the promotions department of the local radio station. From there she worked in various positions in the entertainment industry until securing a position with the Etta James Enterprises Management Team. Ngwebifor worked as personal assistant to Etta James and then was rapidly promoted to Road Manager, then Tour Manager, then Show Producer and Personal Manager. As the tour and road manager, she arranged performances at some of the nations most popular music festivals including the: New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Toronto Jazz Festival, Montreal International Jazz Festival, JVC Jazz Festival at Carnegie Hall and the Rochester International Jazz Festival.[1].

In 2003, Ngwebifor opened Khagen Consulting, a global marketing and public relations consulting firm with divisions in advertising, media buying, creative media and event production. With a proficient skill of putting her client in the forefront of their particular industry, Khagens client base ranges from entertainment industry to health care professionals to non-profit community organizations and are spread across 6 continents.

Ngwebifor believes that she can make a positive impact on the world by being dedicated to serving others. She is an appointed Cultural Arts Commissioner in the Carson, California. As a Commissioner, she is responsible for advising the city council on the planning and developing of cultural enrichment programs and activities which promote interest, understanding and participation in all fields of the arts for the city of Carson. For the past five years she has served as the Chair of the Obesity Action Coalition's Walk from Obesity, A Walk for Childrens Health. The Obesity Action Coalition is a 501(c) 3 National nonprofit organization dedicated to giving a voice to those affected by obesity. As chair of the annual walk, she was able to enlist American Idols Randy Jackson as the Honorary Walk Chair and partner with his Obesity foundation as co-sponsors.

Ngwebifor is the daughter of world renowned obesity and bariatric expert Dr. Mathias Fobi from Cameroon and Helen J. N. Fobi, RN, MPA of Blackshear, Georgia. She is the mother of Khalil and Genesis Walker and resides in Los Angeles County, California, USA.
