Nickelodeon HD is a high-definition simulcast of the network Nickelodeon. It launched on 5 October 2010 on Sky in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.[1] In response to the Nickelodeon HD launch, MTVNHD will no longer broadcast a block of Nickelodeon programming every weekend and instead focus on music-related content. An international version of the channel will launch in 2011.

The channel compliments existing brands in every territory. For example, Nickelodeon HD UK uses the same idents and bumpers as the SD feed of Nickelodeon.
