Shane helped guide Dublin to victory in the 2005 Leinster Minor Hurling Championship.[2] He won the Leinster Under-21 Hurling Championship with Dublin against Offaly in July 2007. It was Dublins first Under-21 trophy since 1972.[3]

Personnel Life and Scandal

Shane is currently engaged to his long term girlfriend, Sinead, and both are said to be happy with the relationship, although it has been stated that Sinead is quite disconserted by Shane's recent admission that he has two children from a previous relationship.
