Spoiler warning and deletion, corrections and addition
I'm a newbie, and this is my most significant edit yet, so I'm eager for feedback. I've kept to the form/extent of the article as I found it, so I haven't cited sources for my two content corrections and one addition. The spoiler warning is needed 1] for the picture and text concerning the film's end, which gives away the resolution of the main character's spiritual quest, and 2] because the last shot offers a surprise on first viewing, as it gradually changes from "character returns to family home" to "character returns to spiritual home". I removed the unnecessary spoiling detail of the candle scene. I feel it's unfortunate to reveal the ending, but I don't feel bold enough nor have the time to rewrite the article from scratch. I've never seen the film, and reading this, I was confused: what is meant by "crossing the pool"? At first I thought it meant levitating (floating) across the pool, using faith or meditation. Or, walking through it (difficult because the wind blows out the candle?)? Swimming? Kayaking? It makes a big difference to the intent/type of film.

Thanks for bringing this up. I've been meaning to go through the entire article, but have not. It's full of potential original research and uncited claims. I tried to clarify the pool phrases somewhat by mentioning that it's drained at the first mention (rather than late in the article) and that Andrei has to walk from one wall of the pool to the other. Hope that helps some! – Kerαunoςcopia◁galaxies19:24, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
