Bungarus multicinctus (also known as the Taiwanese banded krait) is the species of krait which produces α-bungarotoxin.

A snake of this species was responsible for the death of Joseph Bruno Slowinski.[1] This snake has the 4th most toxic venom measured by the ld50 test[ in mice] of any snake in the world.[[1]]
