Frederick Edward "Fred" Valentine (born 1909) was an English professional footballer who played as an outside forward. Born in Birkenhead, he began his career with nearby Runcorn, before joining Hyde United.

In 1936, Valentine was signed by Football League Third Division North side Oldham Athletic. He made five appearances for the club during a single season at Boundary Park.
