Proposing articles for deletion

Hi, I noticed you proposed nearly 20 articles for deletion on 11 November. While I see nothing wrong with the basis of your nominations, please familiarize yourself with the proposed deletion policy, which states in part that an article that is currently being discussed at Articles for deletion cannot be proposed for deletion. I removed the tags you placed on the following articles because they have open AfD discussions: Lesley Collier, Jack Bowman, Ishita Bhaduri, and Geoffrey Cruickshank-Hagenbuckle. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:48, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Schoolstage, can I just point out that it is normally considered good practice to notify an article's authors when you propose deleting their work, also may I suggest trying to source these articles first? If someone tries but is unable to find reliable sources for an article then a prod is rarely contentious, but no article can be prodded more than once, so prodding it as unsourced can result in an article needing AFD if a subsequent attempt to source it fails.
