Mike Sacks is an American author, humor writer, and magazine editor based in New York City. Sacks was born in Virginia and raised in Maryland before attending Tulane University in New Orleans.

Sacks has worked at The Washington Post, and is currently on the editorial staff of Vanity Fair magazine[1]. His work has appeared in Vanity Fair, The New Yorker,[2][3][4] McSweeney's,[5][6][7] Believer,[8] Esquire,[9] and Salon,[10] among others.

Sacks wrote And Here's the Kicker: Conversations with 21 Top Humor Writers,[11] and he co-wrote SEX: Our Bodies, Our Junk.[12]. Sacks has been interviewed on National Public Radio,[13] and his work has been cited by The New York Times, [14] CNN,[15] GQ,[16] Vanity Fair,[17] The Washington Post,[18] USA Today,[19] The Austin Chronicle,[20], and the Onion's A.V. Club.[21]
