Cards Against Humanity is a party game designed to allow players to answer questions in a way that humorously crosses the lines of political correctness and to make silly, sexual, racist, sexist, scatological, or political jokes. Because it is published online under the Creative Commons license, players may print their own copies of the game and are free to add to it or change it as they see fit.

Rules

To start the game, each player draws ten white "answer" cards. One randomly chosen player begins as the Card Czar, and plays a black "question" card. The Card Czar reads the question out to the group. Each player answers the question by passing one white "answer" card, face down, to the Card Czar. The Card Czar shuffles all of the answers, reads them out loud in a humorous fashion, and picks their favorite. Whoever played that answer gets to keep the Black Card as one Awesome Point. After each round, a new player becomes the Card Czar, and every player draws back up to ten cards.

Some cards say "Pick 2" on the bottom. To answer these, each player plays two White Cards in combination. Play them in the order that the Card Czar should read them - the order matters. If the Card Czar has lobster claws for hands, you can use paperclips to secure the cards in the right order.

If a Black Card is played and and a player has more than one White Card that he or she thinks could win, that player can bet one of his or her Awesome Points to play one additional White Card. The winner of the round gets that round's Black Card and all additional wagered Black Cards.[1]
