Renée Davis was born and raised in the Bronx, but has lived in the Atlanta area for over twenty-five years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education, before entering into the work force. She began a career in sales for The Prudential Insurance Co., Bell System and Pacific Bell. However, a sudden lay-off landed her into the world of fashion modeling.

In 1995, Renée founded The Agape Restoration Center, Inc. to assist women with children who are homeless or in a crisis situation. The Agape Restoration Center, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization, opened the doors of its emergency shelter, and within the two years of operation, Agape House had sheltered over 250 women and their children. Plans are now being drawn to re-open the emergency shelter and to rename it Margaret's Manor, in honor Renée's mother. Agape continues to shelter women on an individual basis while offering other services.

While residing in Atlanta, Renee offered her services to the Atlanta Homeless Service Provider Community by serving on the Tri-Jurisdictional Collaborative on Homelessness, and the Community Basics Impact Board of the United Way, The Task Force for the Homeless' Forum, and sat on the Outside Review Committee for allocation of Ryan White Title I Funding (HIV/AIDS Federal Funds). Renée also represented the United Way on the FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program Board and was the Chair of the FEMA State Set-Aside Comittee for Georgia. She is a graduate of the United Way's Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP).

In 1999, Renée fought and won the fight against breast cancer. She is a strong advocate of breast cancer awareness, education and screening. She serves as a Community Health Advocate of the Avon Foundation Comprehensive Breast Center of Grady Health Systems (a program of the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University). She also volunteers her time with the American Cancer Society's Hope Fashion Show and its Cure By Design Fashion Show held annually to raise funds and awareness. One of the seminars she offers is "A Women's Health is Her Wealth" focusing on breast health and breast cancer awareness.

As a professional commercial, print and runway model, Renée represents the "classic, mature baby-boomer" generation. FACTOR MODELS (previously ELITE Model Management) represents her in Atlanta and Chicago, and she works in other markets such as New York, Miami/Tampa, The Carolinas, and Metro DC.

Her company offers workshops and seminars to church, social and corporate groups in proper workplace dressing and business etiquette. Renée & Company offers a full day seminar on the modeling industry called "So...You Want to be a Model?" designed to give a fully informative picture of the modeling industry, and a series of workshops for models called "The Model & Runway Intensive" and offers a booklet of the same name for sale.

Renée's strong faith in God and her belief that the true beauty of a woman should generate from the inside out, motivated her to develop workshops to help women enhance their personal inner beauty. She places a special emphasis on women who live in poverty and lack self-esteem. She is most enthused about being able to train women and teen girls in the areas of image enhancement, health, beauty, poise & carriage through her company "Renée & Company", the mission of which is to offer women and teen girls specific guidance and hands-on direction in developing their personal beauty statement as it relates to their spirits, minds and bodies, by developing and enhancing their inner strength and character.

Utilizing the professional styling, make-up and other experts in "The Company", Renee & Company offers workshops and seminars to social, corporate and church groups in proper workplace dressing (styling based on body type) and business etiquette.

Renee & Company now offers individualized "Personal Enhancement Programs". Through private one-on-one consultations, our experts will design a program for each woman who wants to develop and improve specific areas of her personal and professional image.

Renee accepts motivational speaking engagements on conquering breast cancer, overcoming tragedy with triumph, "Beauty Over 40" and using challenges as life propellants. She is currently the National Spokesperson for AMOENA USA, representing ad speaking on their behalf at conventions and conferences targeted to the breast cancer medical community, breast cancer survivors and the general public.
