  • snip*:

"The Human Development Report is the first to chart what the effects of global warming will be for developing countries. The findings show they will be dramatic. While the wealthy countries produce most of the pollution and are therefore for the most part responsible for climate change, the poorest countries will suffer the worst consequences."

Chuck it back in if/when someone provides a source.

This article needs major updating to the latest edition

This page on the Human Development Report is out of date and needs to be thoroughly updated to reflect the publication of the latest edition, which came out in November 2010. I will try to write and edit this in a neutral manner. However, since I am fairly new to editing, my worry is that my work and updates will be deleted. So if it is I would ask other editors to please update this article so that it is up to date and accurate showing the latest information from the latest Human Development Report.
