It has been reported in More! magazine that Craig leaves on the 20th September. Ricky

The first two times Ricky appeared (22 April and 15 May 2009) he was played by Sam Attwater, but in next week's TV Times it says he will be played by someone called Ashley Margolis. Does anyone know which is right, please? I'm unsure, I seen a picture of a boy and Anita, however it was not the same boy seen in the previous episodes. I might remind you that Anita lied, claiming she was Theresa, Ricky also lies about something, I think it may be about his appearance. Anita imagined scenes with Ricky and it was Sam Attwater but she was Theresa. I think that's what they'll find to have in common that they lied about who they actually were, therefore I think it will be Ashley Margolis playing him.--°wɧoɳɪvɛʀsɜ 21:20, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recurring Characters (2009)

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the recurring characters section is too long? Quite a few characters (Natty, Lydia, Daniel, Abi, Adrian, Caleb and more recently Charlotte) appear in the show a lot and so therefore aren't classed as recurring surely? Lydia is a student at HCC and in a relationship with Sarah, Caleb is Zak and Hayley's brother and Daniel and Abi even have their own flat in Hollyoaks Village and are featured heavily with Ste's storyline.

Also, does anyone know what is going on with Fernando Fernandez? He hasn't been in it since his first appearance in March 2009. -- lgx4, June 14, 2009, 16:02 (BST)

I've already said about this, they deserve to be in the current cast and also deserve separate pages instead of the minor characters at least if not pages of their own. The reason for the "minor" characters page (as I've said in various places over the years...) is because these characters would fail the notability guidelines for fictional characters. Removal of Pauline Hay?

I was considering removing Pauline Hay from the recurring characters section. She hasn't been on the show in a while and I doubt she will return. If she does she could always be moved back into it or be added to the Character Changes. It was just a thought because as many people have noticed, the recurring characters seems rather long and I did not want to remove her until someone seconds the thought. Too be honest Nana McQueen , Mark Gascoyne , Christine Carpenter, Graham Carpenter and the Inps & DS's shouldnt be there. They only appear on a eposidic basis. Well those characters appear regularly, but are not main characters, with the exception of Nana McQueen and Mark Gascoyne, since they have not appeared for quite a while. The others are more like recurring characters. I think Nana and Mark should be removed and for any other character who has not made appearances in a few months also. Yeah, when I changed it, I thought I would try it out for a bit, just to see how it looked, but I agree it doesn't look as good as Duration. One thing I don't really want to be changed is the Actors and Previous actors parts in the table. It used to list previous actors in the same column and their durations in another. I've been thinking about removing Sheila for a while, she hasn't appeared since 5 March. It's one of those things that I'm hesitant about though, since it's unsourced it's likely to be reverted. Macca? And the Davenports.

Hi. I think Macca should be removed from the characters as he was only in it for one week and when Brendan returned, he suddenly disappeared and Brendan was shown was washing blood off his hands. He was either killed or beaten up badly till he went home. Also, the Davenports - I wouldn't count Arlo and Helen as main characters. This character was due to depart on-screen today. However he did not... his scenes were replaced with fresh filmed scenes with Dom, Warren, Mandy and Tony... So what date did Kevin last appear? I'm not sure, they could slot it in next week sometime or even in thurs and fridays's episodes. DS have taken their spoiler back, fridays spoiler is now in place for the episode we saw tonight... :S (I don't know if you knew there was a clip of Amy dying that leaked onto youtube.. maybe it was because of that.) Mandy has been filming scenes over the last few weeks, they took the place of a storyline in which Taylor tells Helen and Arlo that Phil is his dad... a few weeks back Daniel Kilkelly, the soaps reporter on DS messaged me and said they cut a big SL out and shoved in Mitzee/Duncan driving scenes in place, he also confirmed Darren Day filmed scenes as Danny finding Rhys and Jacqui the same day.. so basically anything can happen here. Mitzeee

It's not Mitzeee Minniver, it's just Mitzeee. "Minniver" is used to make up part of Mitzeee. It's like Jordan, also called Katie Price, but no-one ever calls her Jordan Price. It's her career name. On the credits, they always just display "Mitzeee", never "Mitzeee Minniver".
