Brian Pothier (born April 15 1977 in New Bedford, Massachusetts) is a professional ice hockey player currently playing in the NHL for the Ottawa Senators.

Undrafted to the NHL, Pothier was signed as a free agent by the Atlanta Thrashers during the 1999-2000 season, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He moved to the Senators before the 2002-2003 season in a trade for Shawn McEachern.
