A tag has been placed on OmWeb Limited - Empowering Conscious Enterprise, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. RandomTime 13:27, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Wellbeing speech given by the UK Prime Minister The Rt Hon David Cameron MP on 25 November 2010 "From April 2011 we will start measuring our progress as a country not just by how our economy is growing, but by how our lives are improving, not just by our standard of living, but by our quality of life."
Wellbeing is important [[1]]. Around the world, societies are increasingly concerned with their quality of life and a consensus is growing about the need to develop a more comprehensive view of progress rather than focussing on the economic one (GDP). Through collaboration with an international group of scholars and empirical researchers the foundational work started in Bhutan in 1972 is solidly based upon the empirical research literature of happiness, positive psychology and wellbeing.
In an age of unprecedented, and overwhelming information flows growing concerns have been raised about the adequacy of current measures of economic performance, in particular those based on GDP figures. In 2008 the French government created The Stiglitz Commission chaired by Professor Joseph E. Stiglitz, Columbia University and Chair Adviser Professor Amartya Sen, Harvard University, supported by Insee, OECD and OFCE along with renowned experts from universities, governmental and intergovernmental organisations, in several countries including USA, France, United Kingdom and India. The unifying theme of the Commission’s Report is “that the time is ripe for our measurement system to shift emphasis from measuring economic production to measuring people’s wellbeing.”
