Trollkins
Trollkins was a 1981 animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera that aired for one season on CBS. The show was inspired from the Dukes of Hazard and the Troll Dolls, only in Trolltown. Basically, it was the Smurfs (which ironically premiered the same day, September 12, 1981, on the same time slot (8:30 ET)) and the Dukes of Hazard in one show. It followed the adventures (and misadventures) of Blitz, Pixlee, and Flooky (the town pet who mainly hangs out with Blitz, voiced by Frank Welker). The other characters play an important part in the series.
Plot
The Trollkins had green, blue, and purple faces and lived in an underground, or rather in a tree, community called Trolltown. Mayor Lumpkin (Blitz's Father, voiced by Paul Winchell) was somewhat of a short, incompetent, hot-headed, fumble-mouth of a mayor, which his talk was similar to Revs from Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch. Sherrif Trollsom (Pixlee's Father, voiced by Alan Oppenheimer), who was more mild-mannered than Mayor Lumpkin, and his two deputies were just as imcompetent and fumble minded in maintaining order in Trolltown nevertheless, there was no complete love lost amongst the citizens of Trolltown, despite the escipades, including a renegade motorcycle gang known as the Troll Choppers (much like that of the Chopper Bunch from Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch) who terrorizes the citizens of Trolltown from time to time, which was nothing more than an nusiance than a threat to everyone.
