Hi there Davidhorvitzapple. You contacted me on my own talk page about images from California. I'm afraid I'm not the person to talk to about getting copies of the deleted images. Instead, you should talk to the Wikimedia Commons administrator who performed the deletion. That user can be contacted at commons:User talk:Podzemnik, and you can simply leave the same message for them that you left for me.
