My Credentials

If you're here, I assume you know that, like any source of information, wikipedia may or may not be accurate. So why should you trust anything I have to say?

I am a Genetics student in my final year, currently averaging a 2:1. My chosen course components are: Cell Biology; Animal Biology; Microbiology; Genetics and Molecular Biology; Biochemistry; Plant Biology; Ecology; Chemistry; Biological Aplications of Physics and Maths; Statistics and Computing in Biology; Cyto- Immuno- and Human Genetics; Genetic Manipulation; Medical Microbiology; Microbial Structure and Function: Methods; Molecular and Microbial Genetics; Population and Behavioural Genetics; Statistics and Computing; Information and Communication Skills; Bacterial Genetics; Genome Organisation, Expression and Evolution; Cell and Tissue Biology; Genetics of the Eukaryotic Cell Cycle; Genetic Engineering in Biotechnology.

I have also worked in the Mollecular Systematics Department in Kew gardens for a year on an internship.

Does this qualify me to know anything about what I edit? Judge for yourself.

To Do List

  • Find references showing speciation and genetic change for Evolution add them under speciation
  • Make corrections for PCR
  • Add information to Burkholderia thailandensis
  • Reform the article Symbiogenesis - currently POV towards Lynne Margulis and doesn't really talk about the topic.
