Frankfurter Tor

The Frankfurter Tor (Frankfurt Gate) is a large square in the Friedrichshain locality of central Berlin, the capital city of Germany. It is situated at the intersection of Karl-Marx-Allee with Warschauer Straße, Frankfurter Allee and Petersberger Straße.

The square was built in the post-war years, named after the eponymous city gate, located ca. 850m westwards. The two towers are in a Stalinist architectural style.

The Frankfurter Tor station, on the city's U-Bahn line Template:Rail text color, is located under the square.[1]
