Goldfeld is a Jewish East European surname, common among Ashkenazi Jews. It's meaning is 'gold field', probably referring to corn or wheat fields. Goldfelds in the western hemisphere mostly come from what is now known as Ukraine.

  • Stephen Goldfeld (1940-1955), American economist.
  • Dorian Goldfeld (b.1947), American mathematician.
  • Denis Goldfeld, (b. 1974 in Ufa, former Soviet Union), violinist.
  • Ester Goldfeld (b. 1993), American tennis player.
