Jaclyn Friedman

Jaclyn Friedman is a feminist writer and activist from Boston, Massachusetts. She is the founder and Executive Director of Women, Action, and the Media[1], a national organization working for gender justice in media. Friedman received an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College.[2] She has written articles for The American Prospect[3], The Washington Post[4], The Nation[5], and Salon[6]. She currently writes on her blog, Yes Means Yes[7].

In 2008, Friedman published a book of essays, Yes Means Yes: Visions of Sexual Power and a World Without Rape.[8]
