Ogier is an offshore law firm which provides legal and fiduciary services. It advises on BVI, Cayman, Guernsey, and Jersey law as well as providing complimentary administration services. It consists of 52 partners, 135 associates, 315 administrators and over 300 support staff.[1][2] In total it employees over 850 staff.[3]


History

2007 Ogier merged with WSmith based in BVI and Hong Kong.

2004 Ogier merged with Boxalls in Cayman.

1995 The two law firms Le Masurier Giffard & Poch and Ogier & Le Cornu merged to create the Ogier Group.

1932 Philip Antonio Poch was made partner alongside Le Masurier and Gifford to form Le Masurier Giffard & Poch.

1922 A partnership between Advocate Leonce L’Hermite Ogier and John Gleury Le Cornu was formed.

1905 William Smyth Le Masurier joined John Gifford’s practice.

1867 John Francis Giffard began practicing law in St Helier, Jersey.
