Joe Chappell (played by Scott Taylor) is a healthcare provider who works for Hazel Rhodes and makes his first appearance on 19 January 2011. Joe is Jackson Walsh's carer and takes care of Jackson at home and accompanies him when he is out and about. Not much is known about the character at present, other than that he has an overbearing mother he thinks he will be single forever.
Flynn Buchanan (played by Ryan Prescott) is a man Aaron Livesy meets in a gay nightclub in Hotten. Flynn spots Aaron playing a game of pool with his friend Adam Barton. Flynn challenges Aaron to a game and wins. Adam buys Flynn a drink along with Aaron's. Flynn makes a pass at Aaron and gives him his phone number. Although Aaron initially rejects him and goes home, it is later revealed that Flynn has sent a text to Aaron asking him out for another date. The two continue to date when Flynn comes back from a trip away and then has an awkward first meeting with Jackson.
Stephanie Ray (played by Elianne Byrne) is a character introduced as an old friend of Rhona Goskirk on the 1st February 2011. The two old pals meet up again when Rhona takes Paddy and Marlon to the local hospital for her first baby scan, where Stephanie happens to work. Rhona later tries to set her up with Marlon Dingle so that she can have some alone time with Paddy. They go for drinks at the Woolpack but Marlon isn't too keen on her.
