Howdy!
  • Please note I will respond here to questions raised here. If not, at the very least I'll leave you a message here saying I've responded at some place I found more appropriate. Also, if I engage in a discussion with you elsewhere, I'll expect a reply there - you don't have to bother with coming to my talk page and writing here (although you can if it makes you extremely happy).
  • Also, do note I'm very much an on-off editor, meaning I'm prone to taking breaks lasting for weeks or months and then coming back just to be active for a day or two. I'm actually editing Wikipedia for fun, not because I care about the greater good of the community or whatever. Thus, if you post me a message and I don't respond, it's nothing personal - I just stopped caring. I will likely return at some point in the future and will probably reply to your message at that point - yes, a couple of months too late, but I'm sure it wasn't all that important in the first place.
  • Right. Now, this page has been vandalized 22 times. (Not included are some conversation topics based on clearly false claims - for example, impersonation of a notable writer and misrepresentation of oneself as a 97 year old retiree. While I agree these edits are unconstructive, I do not have a policy of outright deleting them when they appear on my talk page.) My user page has been vandalized once and there was also (at least) one whole article dedicated to me. Out of amusement, I've taken the opportunity and collected links to these edits. Take a look if you want - there are some funny ones. You will probably find some of them somewhat offensive, though. Vandalism often is. Rest assured I most certainly do not condone this type of behavior. Actually, most of my "work" 'round here involves battling vandalism and disruptive editing in general and I warn and, if necessary, report every vandal I find. Describing me as a promiscuous Jewish homosexual zoophile (neither of which is true and at least half of which is not even close to being offensive), as one editor did, will certainly not make me any more lenient. Maybe that's why they stopped trying to ruin my good name lately. Anyway, here's the list:

Reviewer Right Granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Helpful One 14:57, 26 June 2010 (UTC) [reply]

AWB

I don't think there would be an issue granting AWB to you - just post a short note with the reason for wanting to use it. –xenotalk 15:09, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I approved you for it. Prodego talk 18:21, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Haven't been around for a long time, but I just wanted to say thanks, in the unlikely case either one of you sees my talk page. Peasantwarrior (talk) 11:01, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Ányos Jedlik semi-protect

The answer is simple, when any admin add the {{pp-semi}} tag on an unprotected page, it immediatly appears at Category:Wikipedia pages with incorrect protection templates, even if the page is protected later the page still appearing in that category. I made simple changes to make the page stop appearing at that category. Tbh®tchTalk © Happy New Year 22:48, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
