Tremendously high frequency is a band designation used by some authors[1] to refer to a decade band in the submillimeter radiation/terahertz radiation range. It follows the ITU EHF band in increasing frequency order.

THF runs the range of frequencies from 300 gigahertz to 3 terahertz, lying in the low (or far) infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum. The wavelength in this band varies from one to one tenth of a millimetre.
