He has been awarded for his contributions several times. In 2007, he became a Fellow of IEEE, for his outstanding contributions to Distortion Analysis. Now he works as a Full Professor of The University of Aveiro. He is involved in many innovative projects in the IT(Institute of Telecommunications, Aveiro). He is a popular speaker of scientific topics and research methods. He is equally nice, polite and gentle.
