Rocksmith is an upcoming music video game slated for release in September 2011[1] produced by Ubisoft similar to Guitar Hero. The game's main focus is the unique feature that allows players to plug in a real guitar and play.[2] It will be released on three platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.[3]

Ubisoft has announced the game will contain songs by bands such as Interpol, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, The XX and The Animals.[4] So far, only four songs have been confirmed to be in the game:
