Rainbow International School is a relatively low-cost international school catering for children from all parts of the world from ages 3 up to 21 (kindergarten to ‘A’ level) with full-time boarding facilities for students age 7 and above. It is a non-selective school offering education for all abilities, cultures and religions. School motto

The school motto is Nil Satis Nisi Optimum,[3] a Latin phrase that means "nothing but the best is good enough".

Staff

The Head of Primary is Mrs Audrey Dralega MA. The Head of Secondary is Mr John Toscano. The position of principal has become vacant since the sacking of Mr Cliff Green in January 2011. This happened after repeated verbal and written warnings from The Schools Directors. The sacking was a popular decision amongst local teaching staff (apart from his wife), ex-pat staff and the parents.

Boarding

Full time boarding facilities for students age 7 and above are available. School transport takes the boarders to and from the boarding houses each day. A staff member, along with their family, is resident at the boarding house overseeing all its day-to-day activities.

Career guidance

Trained and qualified careers advisers are available to the students and parents for careers interviews on subject options, possible careers and guidance and counseling on all issues concerning the student's future. Students receive guidance in their decisions about choosing a university, choosing a course to study at university and filling in university applications. The careers department has a dedicated room with an interview section, ten Internet-connected computers and a library full of up-to-date university prospectuses and financial aid and scholarship information.
