The Brother Tour is the first tour by Irish boy band, Boyzone following the death of Stephen Gately. They will be playing arenas all over the UK and finish with 4 Irish dates including a homecoming show at the O2 in Dublin.
Background
At first the band were uncertain about promoting Brother but due to the album's success they decided to go on tour. The tour is going to involve the band singing all of their singles which they have released on top of their songs on the brother album. Keith Duffy has indicated that the Brother Tour will be on DVD and that there will be many surprises on the tour.[3] They promoted the tour on breakfast programme, Daybreak on the 10th February 2011. [4] The band attempted to have a hologram of Stephen Gately but this wasn't possible but there will be pictures of him that have been unseen.[5] One of the highlights so far during the tours was Keith Duffy who fell through a trap door at the Cardiff Gig but he continued until the end and was checked at hospital where there was nothing broken.
