Uyghur Doppa Cutural festival is one of the most prominent cultural festivals for Uyghur People,who are living In Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomus Region,China.
There are different explanations for the etmology of the word <doppa>,but according to some scolars,it means (top ba) in Old uyghur,In english this means:(there is our Group). The history Of this festival.
This festival does not have a long history as other religous festivals of uyghur people ,such as Qurban (kurban Eiyt Festival and rozi eyit (eyit ramizan)(these are common for all of the muslim world ).Frist time , the festival is created by tahir imin,an independent researcher on Political philosophy In Urumqi 2009.it was broadcast By The Central China Broadcasting Station In Beijing and publicized through main Uyghur Websites In Xinjiang.2010 ,this festival was held and organized by the students of Beijing Normal University ,supported by the Beijing Municipal religous and ethcic affairs administration Beuro Officals.
2011 ,it is celebrated all around china,espically Southern and northern part of xinjiang.and a very imporatnt metting and seminar On Uyghur Doppa organized by the Yakan (shache)county and Kashgar prefecture loca[[1]]l Government . Cognition Of The festival Is Culture and Development.

The Content Of The Festival
According to the festival ,every may five of the year ,all the people who likes to take the doppa on their heads are called to take their doppa toghther and celebrate it as national identity day .and the people are called to do good things as helping others by all means. by this way, people with other cultural identity could understand an outer part of Uyghur culture and find a cultural brighe to understand eachother. without understanding,there is not hormony.
