Faygo or Faygo Pop is an alternative to the big 3 soda/pop companies, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and Dr Pepper/7-Up. Faygo is popular throughout the midwest, particularly Michigan, as well as the eastern part of the US.

Feigenson Brother Bottling Works, the company that later became known as Faygo was founded in Detroit in 1907 by Russian immigrants Ben and Perry Feigenson.

Faygo comes in several flavors including;

  • Rock & Rye (their signature strawberry creme soda flavor)
  • Faygo Cola
  • Diet Faygo
  • Red Pop
  • Clear Cream Soda
  • Moon Mist (Blue Mountain Dew like cola)
  • Morning Mist (Similar to Mountain Dew)

Faygo typically sells its cola for much less than mainstream cola. Often, 24oz. bottles only cost 79¢ compared to the $1.19 for most 20oz. colas.
