Mr Grayson, I am sorry about however wrote this. Are you thinking about defecting to the Labour Party. You have worked closely with them in their policy review and you are obviously a strong progressive. Could you imagine yourslef as a Labour candidate in 2015 instead of a Liberal Democrat?

By the way, if you need to be formal, I haven't been 'Mr' since 1995! I was Dr from 1995 to 2010 and am now Prof. Otherwise, first names are preferred and are fine, but at least be accurate if formality is required (and be accurate in Facebook edits of course!). Okay, but I cannot understand why you would want to remain in the Lib Dems? They have moved towards this neoliberal opinion, they have betrayed millions of voters and you have congratulated Ed Miliband's leadership, you have worked with Compass, you have effectively lambasted the Tory-led coalition. You have been willing to work closely with the party calling for a wider progressive alliance. Considering your party is responsible for allowing many of the rightwing policies implemented by this coalition, surely you should work even closer with Ed Miliband and take his offer to jump ship - I think you would be doing yourself justice by defecting. With your values, strength and amazing intellect you should use to magnify progressive politics rather than staying in the Lib Dems.--81.144.235.66 (talk) 16:03, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am very concerned that somebody has edited this talk to put in words from me which are not mine. Above my comment beginning 'By the way' somebody has added 'Yes. I am fed up with the centre-right neoliberalism from Nick Clegg and I am talking to Liam Byrne about defecting to Labour and I'd strongly encourage others to do so.' This is vandalism and I have deleted it. Please desist. The email I had suggested this had been done by 81.144.235.66 which is no surprise. To that user I must point out that altering comments in this way is highly unethical.Rsgrayson (talk) 14:23, 27 May 2011 (UTC)RSGrayson[reply]
