The current lead is sufficient and your suggested revision lacks reliable sources. —James (TalkContribs)10:13am 00:13, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Move proposal at 'Chink'

While I understand your motivation for closing the move proposal, I can't help feeling it was a little premature, and you seem to be adding your own arguments, rather than summarising other's comments in your closing post. This seems a little questionable, as it prevents others responding to your argument. Perhaps you should take another look?

I'd also suggest that you might want to rephrase this: "a spade's still a spade no matter what you call it". I'm sure it was entirely unintentional, but, to quote Wiktionary "spade... (offensive) A black person". [1] AndyTheGrump (talk) 14:53, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That was not my intention at all (the use of that phrase). I wasn't adding my own argument, it's my observation and summary of the arguments presented. Bard was predisposed to the article, a lot of the opposers were of the similar opinion and the outcome of the discussion was clear without doubt. —James (TalkContribs)10:07am 00:07, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimarkup lesson

I created a sandbox here. As you can tell, I've learned a lot about wikimarkup. I believe the copyright thing is the last item on the menu, so to speak. I'll take a look at it when I get more than just a few minutes on the computer (I have family over). TheTrainEnthusiast (talk) 23:47, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I'm impressed at how far you've come in these 2-3 weeks, you've learnt a lot of the basics. Your story is quite interesting, I'm sure it was tiring to have had to do all that! About that image, click on "Upload a new version of this file" on the file description page, I see you requested it's deletion, nevermind then. Sorry I didn't respond earlier. —James (TalkContribs)4:33pm 06:33, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
